On the day 15/03 the CertLab was invited to appear at ANATEL (Brasilia/DF), in particular to meet with the regulatory Management (PRRE), to present the collaborations with the new certification regulation, which will repeal the current resolutions 242 and 323.
After consulting the laboratories, OCDs, manufacturers and operators, ANATEL has provided information that will contribute considerably to the elaboration of this new regulation. In the following, the documentation will be finalised and submitted to the approval of the Council and thereafter will go to public consultation.
This is a very important step in the Brazilian regulatory process, in the context of telecommunications equipment, since long-term documentation is not reviewed and several complementary information ended up being published through offices of the agency.
